    Open Settings → Connectors

    In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors and click Add custom connector.

What is the Coverr MCP server?

A Model Context Protocol server at https://mcp.coverr.co/mcp that exposes the Coverr API as tools. Any MCP-compatible agent can search stock video and music, generate media and check your account with no integration code.

Which clients are supported?

Any client that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP: Claude on the web and desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code with Copilot, Windsurf, and custom agents built with the official MCP SDKs.

Do I need an API key?

Yes. Create one for free from your Coverr profile. Send it as the x-api-key header, or as the OAuth Client Secret in clients that use a connector flow, such as Claude.

Is it free?

Searching the library uses your API key's quota, which starts at 1,000 free calls a month. The generation tools spend the AI credits of the Coverr account that owns the key, exactly like generating in Coverr Studio.

Can I use the content commercially?

Yes. Everything the tools return is covered by the Coverr license: free for personal and commercial projects, with no attribution required.

How do generations work?

Generation is asynchronous. The create tool returns a task id and an estimated duration, and the wait tool checks on it until the result is ready, so your agent can keep working in the meantime.

Where do I see what my agent generated?

Every generation appears in your Coverr profile, and the list_generations tool returns them to the agent as well.
